Are you quality assured?

Yes since 1995, we comply with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 and are accredited by Sci- Qual International. In 2010 we were recipients of the Quality Management System 15 Year Gold Award as recognition of our efforts in the management of our quality systems over the past 15 years.

How do you deal with businesses outside of Queensland?

We have sales representation in all Australian states and New Zealand. We can also organise to have your products shipped overseas.

What are your business hours?

We are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5pm (AEST)

How do I get a credit account?

After you have traded with us for a short time we may offer credit terms. Contact your area representative for a Credit account application form. Return your completed form to admin@reidindustrial.com.au. Assessment usually takes 3-5 working days.

How can I pay my account?

We accept cash, cheque, direct deposit (BSB 084 929 A/c 667718707) and VISA and Mastercard.

In what format should I save my artwork?

We receive many enquiries relating to which types of file formats we work with. To maintain consistency and quality we prefer:

  • Corel Draw 13 and below files (.cdr)
  • Adobe Illustrator files (.ai)
  • AutoCAD Drawing Interchange files (.dxf)
What is the dimensioning convention you use?

We measure everything in millimetres in the following order: H x W x D

What kind of printing can I have?

For short runs and complex graphics we can offer digital printing (see products Digital Printing & Digital Prototyping). For all other applications we use Screenprinting

What is minimum quantity for manufacturing runs?

We have no minimum quantity, however the more products there are, the more economically viable it will be. We are happy to quote any quantity, no job too big or small.

Do I always need tooling?

No, for short runs and complex shapes we prefer to laser cut.

What material are your Overlays and Keypads manufactured from?

In the main we use Polyester and Polycarbonate; however we prefer to use Polyester wherever possible to ensure longevity of your interface product. All circuitry layers are 100% Polyester.

What is the lead time for custom manufactured products?

10 - 15 working days from receipt of order - for new parts this can vary depending on complexity of artwork. Lead times can also be longer for complex or very large orders.

Are you environmentally friendly?

We recycle all waste paper and cardboard. Our manufacturing process uses environmentally friendly chemicals to reduce our impact on the environment and staff. We are always looking for new ways to become greener and to reduce waste even further.
